Legion of Honor


The Provisional Army of the Confederate States has formed the Legion of Honor to bring recognition to those members of the Legion that have had a long lasting and positive impact on our organization. This could come from hard work, dedication, leadership or any combination of qualities that sets this individual apart in a positive way for both him or herself and the Legion.


1.       Nominations for the Legion of Honor can be made by any member and forwarded to a Board of Directors member. Nominations can be accepted throughout the year.

2.      The nominees will be reviewed by the Board of Directors at the annual Board of Directors meeting.

3.      To be accepted into the Legion of Honor, a nominee must receive a unanimous vote from the Board of Directors and Officers of the corporation.

4.     Acceptance into the Legion of Honor will be announced at the annual Winter Meeting.

5.      Members that are inducted into the Legion of Honor will forever be present on the rolls of the 1st Legion, Provisional Army of the Confederate States.

6.     Living members inducted into the Legion of Honor will receive Lifetime Membership status and be exempt from membership dues.
